hey hey..
Ytd was April Fool's and I got fooled by dear the minute the clock strucks 12am on the 31/3/07.. so sian-ed la.. maybe i am just plainly too gullible... gosh.. anyway.. had yet a nice evening with dear last saturday when we set foot to reach Clarke Quay.. there was this new shopping centre which sells mostly Jap stuffs or rather most shops are Japanese.. So we came across this Hokaiddo Ice-cream shop and he bought a bowl of Mango ice with a scoop of ice cream.. it was simply heavenly.. go try it.. it is a must-try.. cost $6.50.. yum yum.. 0_0.. then started our shopping expedition.. not much to shop as I refuse to buy cos i am broke.. dear keep tempting me with dresses la and we both chanced upon this dress.. very nice.. maybe end of this month.. haha!!.. den came across this jewellery shop that sells nice rings with very very nice engravings.. gosh!! my eyes did sparkle la when i saw the ring but it was quite ex leh.. $168 each.. gosh.. but i really love the design.. boo hoo!! Impt ring in my life.. haha.. Have never received rings from my previous bfs before, neither did i request for one before.. cos i felt that i have to wait for the one who will promise to bring me happiness to buy one and that will be the day my life would be binded by that promise... Enuff of rings.. den we chanced upon many Jap restaurants and wow!! the food looks yummilicious.. Dear promise to go there one day to try out the food.. I am waiting!.. then the rest are just shops shops and shops.. and tada!! nth to shop le and i went to accompany him to Safra club to replace his safra card.. yay!! he got his safra card free.. and thanks to the lady.. more discounts for movie deals le.. we just tink and tink of where to go next.. decide to settle down at Millenia Walk but unfortunately my sister and cousin who were suppose to work there next week were not there as their training ended early.. boo!! so we just settle down at a Jap restaurant to eat la.. oh ya!! the food there was tasty.. haha i ate Salmon sauce set.. cos they put a "thumbs up" beside it.. and true enuff, i gave a thumbs up.. dear was eating the beef set.. too bad! i dun take beef.. haha!! den we went for some nice shopping at marina square and found nth and so went to arcade and can't find my favourite machine.. then went to GV but found no nice movies .. so we head home..
yesterday was tomb-sweeping day.. went to two temples in total to pray for my ah gong and lao ma.. first aunt came to fetch us to ah ma house to get the praying stuffs and then off we went to the temle.. going back there once a year gives me lots of random thoughts.. went down to the basement where all the ashes are placed and prayed.. i saw ah gong in the photo and i felt sad.. i only had four years of memories of him, or rather only about 2 years.. he took care of me when i was young and i lived there for 6 years.. i remembered him as a tall and skinny man who is very tan looking.. being naughty, i would always snatch the tv from him.. haha.. cos i prefer cartoons whereas he loves the discovery channel.. different preferences leads to conflicts but no conflicts.. cos i am forever the winner.. looking back, he has passed away for 17 years already but his everything still remains fresh in my mind shows that he is someone unforgettable, knowing that i got serious STM... as usual.. there were many kids there yaking their way inside the temple and of cos my cousins playing some children games which i did join in, for fun... went to the second temple to pray my ah gong's mother, Lao Ma.. yup.. her ashes were placed in Ming Yi Fa Shi Temple ( the charity show monk) and i saw him there as i tink they were having some buddhist ceremony.. There was this pagoda at the temple with 5 levels.. each level with different gods and once step up.. you have to complete the 5 levels of praying.. I went up.. and as i go up.. i felt peaceful as inside was real serene.. went up with my second uncle and this thing literally become my annual routine.. after all the praying i headed to ah ma house for dinner and off i go home.. feeling so tired that day but manage to chat with dear on the phone after his dinner home with his family..
and todae.. or rather later.. dear will be meeting me downstairs of my office and having dinner with me.. he got two days off but too bad i can't accompany him for these two days cos today got to work and tomorrow i have full day school... boo!! he will be rotting at home , enjoying his movie and resting and be his mummy's boy while i will be slogging hard in school.. Going AMK later where there is a new shopping centre.. Yoo Hoo!! Hear from dear that there will be my favourite game in the arcade there and i just hope so and also looking forward to this Friday's Haw Par Villa and Sentosa trip with dear dear and also Sat's SJWP outing.. yoo hoo!! More awaiting!! .. Long entry today!!
